After you schedule and pay for your exam, please send your confirmation and receipt to Rachael Harper

STEP 4 – Take Exam

What to Bring Day of  Testing

Two forms of current signature identification:
A primary ID (photograph and signature, not expired) such as a Driver’s License or Passport
A secondary ID (signature, not expired) such as a Debit or Credit card
You will not be required to supply a copy of your Certificate of Completion at the exam.

Exam Procedures

Report to the test center 30 minutes before the exam to verify identification and be photographed for the score report.
No personal items are allowed in the testing room such as cell phones, watches, wallets, or purses.
Studying is not allowed in the test center.
The test administrator will provide you with materials to make notes or calculations. You may not write on these items before the exam begins or remove these items from the testing room.

 

EXAM FAQS

Exam Format

Each major line exam is given in a multiple-choice format.
The exam consists of two parts:

The general section deals with basic insurance product knowledge
The state section deals with insurance laws, rules, and regulations, and practices that are unique to Georgia

Each exam contains “pretest” questions that are mixed in with the scored questions and are not identified. Pretest questions may not be covered in your educational materials and do not affect your final score!
The passing score required on each exam is 70%.
When you complete the exam, you will receive a score report marked “pass or fail”.
Candidates who fail will receive a score report that includes a numeric score, diagnostic and re-testing information.

Fill out which city and state you executed this in.
Sign/Print name
Have notary sign and date document - VERY IMPORTANT.  If you do not know of a notary to use, find your local UPS store here to utilize their notary services.

NOTE – this will need to be submitted when you apply for your license through SIRCON

 

STEP 6 – Apply for License

Once you pass your exam, apply for the GA Accident and Sickness Producer (

Select Apply for license – New Insurance License - Resident – Individual
Enter your email address / Last Name / SSN / Applicant
Select – Georgia
Processing method – Credit Card/Check Submission
License Information – Resident Agent
Qualification – Life Accident and Sickness
Enter all personal information asked
Enter employment history
Optional – Affiliation Information
Answer background check questions
Pay for License Application via CC
Attach the following documents to the application:

-Citizen Affidavit Form
Drivers license – front and back clear copy
Copy of score report from Pearson Vue
Course certificate from Xcel
Any documentation for “yes” answers in your background check.

NOTE: Review for those documents take 4 weeks if you mark yes on the background check.

 


TIMELINE

Once your application is submitted, it may take 7-14 days to be approved by the state.

You will be notified via EMAIL when your application is approved.

Once you have your license number, please notify your manager and Ali Hyduke ASAP

 

 

STEP 7 – Fill out Contracting Link

Once you alert your manager that you are licensed, you will be sent a contracting link for you to fill out.
The contract will come from: contracts@coloniallife.com – please check your spam for this as well.
This link only takes 15-20 minutes to fill out.

Once your application is approved, you will receive an email from Colonial Life with your code number/access to Propr/etc.
